You must install the server portion of SoftDent on a server class operating system before you can install the software on a workstation. You must install the workstation portion of the software on each computer that functions as a workstation.

The procedures in the Installation Guide are different for installing on a server or on a workstation, and for performing a new installation or an upgrade to a newer version. Read the applicable portion of the installation guide carefully before installing or upgrading the software.
