Insurance Menu Commands

Use the Insurance menu to review insurance claims, print batched claims, delete completed claims, reprint claims, view a list of forms that have not been printed, select insurance forms, resubmit claims, transfer claim balances, reset patient benefits, and recalculate treatment plans.

The Insurance menu commands are:

• Insurance Payments:Enter insurance company check payments. You can also access ePostings from this menu.

• Review Claim:Search for an insurance claim by the last name, patient identification number, or claim number. You can also print copies, perform a primary or secondary submittal, cancel a claim, review claim documents, and create or view claim attachments.

• Print Batched Claims:Print batched files.

• Delete Completed Claims:Delete all claims that were submitted before a specific date.

• Restart Batch Print:Print batch files by a specific number or date.

• Count of Forms not Printed:View the list of forms that have not been printed.

• Select Insurance Forms:Select an insurance form.

• Resubmit or Delete by Age:Resubmit or delete all claims submitted before a specific date.

• Transfer Balance of Old Claims to Patient:Transfer all claim balances from claims that were submitted before a specific date to a patient account.

• Insurance Plan Rollover:Reset insurance benefits.

• Treat Plan Recalc of Benefits:Recalculate treatment plan benefits.

• eServices:Display the eServices software.
