Editing Allowance Tables

To edit an allowance table:

  1. Select List > Allowance Table. The Allowance Table List window is displayed.

  2. Select View Codes. The codes for the selected table are displayed in the Allowance Table List window. The name, description, and fee associated with each code assigned to the table are displayed.

  2. To add a code to the table:To add a code to the table:Click Add. An allowance table entry window is displayed. Select the code, and type the allowed amount. Select  Upgraded Procedure (write-off amount applied to patient balance) to add the write-off amount to the Pat. Pays amount. Click OK.

  3. To edit the fee for an existing code:To edit the fee for an existing code:Double-click the fee. An allowance table entry window is displayed. Type the new fee. Select Upgraded Procedure (write-off amount applied to patient balance) to add the write-off amount to the Pat. Pays amount. Click OK.

  4. To copy code information from another table:To copy code information from another table:Select Copy From Existing Table. The Allowance Table window is displayed. Copy From Existing Table is selected. Select the table and click OK.

  5. To copy the codes from fee0:To copy the codes from fee0:Select the code and select Copy From Fee0.
