Deferring Contacts

Use the contact expert to defer a contact.

Example:

To defer a contact:

  1. In the Contact Expert window, select a record from the list in the left pane.

  2. Select Defer Contact. The drop-down list defaults to one calendar week from the current date.

  3. To change the deferment date, click the drop-down list, select the appropriate month and day, and click OK.

  4. Type any notes in the Notes field.

  5. Click Log and Remove Contact.
