Customizing Time Card Types

The Time Card Types window enables you to customize the types that you assign to an employee's time. Several time card types are included in the database by default, and you can create any type you need, such as Training (Paid), Seminar (Paid), and so on. The types you create display in the Time Card report as well.

To customize time card types:

  1. Select System > Change System Settings > Time Card > Customize Time Card Types. The Time Card Types window is displayed.

  2. Select an option:

  3. To add a type:To add a type:Click Add. The Time Card Types window is displayed. Type a description for the time card type, and deselect the Time Is Paid option if this type is not paid. Click OK. Click Close.

  4. To edit a type:To edit a type:Select a type from the list and click Edit. The Time Card Types window is displayed. Make your changes and click OK. Click Close.

  5. To make a type inactive:To make a type inactive:Select a type from the list and click Delete. A message window is displayed. Click Mark Inactive.
