Canceling Appointments

When you cancel an appointment, the appointment information is saved temporarily to enable you to:

• Reschedule the appointment immediately.

• Place it in the Pending List to reschedule later.

To cancel an appointment, select an option:

• From the Single Day View window:From the Single Day View window:Click an appointment and click Cancel. Type a reason for the cancellation, and click Cancel Appointment.

• From the Weekly View window:From the Weekly View window:Click an appointment and click Cancel. Type a reason for the cancellation, and click Cancel Appointment.

• From the Patient List window:From the Patient List window:Select a patient and select Appointments from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu. The Patient Appointments window is displayed. Select an appointment and click Cancel Appt.

• From the Patient window:From the Patient window:Select Appointments from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu. The Patient Appointments window is displayed. Select an appointment and click Cancel Appt.
