Accessing CareCredit

You can access the CareCredit integration and its features from several areas in the software.

Depending on the specific window you are in, these features can include:

• Lookup by SSN and Zip:Search by Social Security Number or zip code to verify the patient has a CareCredit account when the patient does not have his CareCredit card.

• Lookup by Account No.:Search by CareCredit account number to verify the patient has a CareCredit account when the patient does not have his CareCredit card.

• Online Application:Access the CareCredit web site, where the patient can complete an application and receive instant approval.

• Payment Calculator:Access the CareCredit web site, where you can use a payment calculator to present various payment plans to the patient.

• Enter a Payment:Accept a CareCredit payment in the same way that you would a credit card.

• Enter a Refund:Make a refund to a CareCredit account in the same way that you would a credit card account.

To access CareCredit from the software, select an option:

• In the Patient List window:Select a patient, and select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

• In the Patient window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

• In the Account List window:Select a patient, and select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

• In the Account window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

• In the InOffice window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

• In the Single Day View window:Select CareCredit Integration from the options panel of the Scheduler.

• In the Week View window:Select CareCredit Integration from the options panel of the Scheduler.

• In the patient Transactions window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar, or click CareCredit Payment on the Payment Toolbar.

• In the account Transactions window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar, or click CareCredit Payment on the Payment Toolbar.

• On the Power Bar:Click  .

• The CareCredit Integration button and option are disabled if the CareCredit software is not enabled.
