Accessing CareCredit

You can access the CareCredit integration and its features from several areas in the software.

Depending on the specific window you are in, these features can include:

Lookup by SSN and Zip:Lookup by SSN and Zip:Search by Social Security Number or zip code to verify the patient has a CareCredit account when the patient does not have his CareCredit card.
Lookup by Account No.:Lookup by Account No.:Search by CareCredit account number to verify the patient has a CareCredit account when the patient does not have his CareCredit card.
Online Application:Online Application:Access the CareCredit web site, where the patient can complete an application and receive instant approval.
Payment Calculator:Payment Calculator:Access the CareCredit web site, where you can use a payment calculator to present various payment plans to the patient.
Enter a Payment:Enter a Payment:Accept a CareCredit payment in the same way that you would a credit card.
Enter a Refund:Enter a Refund:Make a refund to a CareCredit account in the same way that you would a credit card account.

To access CareCredit from the software, select an option:

In the Patient List window:In the Patient List window:Select a patient, and select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

In the Account List window:In the Account List window:Select a patient, and select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar.

In the Single Day View window:In the Single Day View window:Select CareCredit Integration from the options panel of the Scheduler.

In the patient Transactions window:In the patient Transactions window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar, or click CareCredit Payment on the Payment Toolbar.
In the account Transactions window:In the account Transactions window:Select CareCredit Integration from the Options section of the Express bar, or click CareCredit Payment on the Payment Toolbar.
On the Power Bar:On the Power Bar:Click .

The CareCredit Integration button and option are disabled if the CareCredit software is not enabled.
