SoftDent, version 15.0, includes new features in the following areas:
Version 15.0 of SoftDent includes the new Scheduler. The help topics associated with using the Scheduler are accessed from the Scheduler window. Open the Scheduler, click the ? button, and select Help for more information.
Due to the new Scheduler, a few features have been renamed. These include:
The Daily Appointments window is now called the Single Day View.
The Book At A Glance window is now called the Weekly View.
The Daily Operatory Schedule has been replaced by the Print Scheduler option.
The Tickler File List is now called the Pending List.
The Tickler File Report is now called the Pending Appointment List Report.
Color Scheduling is now called Ideal Day Scheduling.
Full Resource Scheduling is now called Doctor/Assistant Time.
Scheduler books have been replaced by personal views.
The Recall function is now called Recare.
The Instant Recall feature is now called Instant Recare.
Missed appointments are now called failed appointments.
The Missed Appointments report is now called the Failed Appointments report.
The Scheduler Initial Training Workbook, which contains lessons and exercises specifically for the new Scheduler, is now available from the Start menu. To access the Scheduler Initial Training Workbook, select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > Online Documentation > Scheduler Workbook.
