Using the Voice Activation Module

The voice activation module enables you to perform perio charting by using voice commands to control keyboard or mouse actions.

For voice activation training, the individual user needs to have his or her own Microsoft Windows login for the workstation on which training occurs. This login is distinct from the SoftDent login.

Before you can use this feature, you must have the following compatible items installed:

Sound card
Microphone

Enable the voice activation module on each computer that performs perio charting using voice commands.
