Selecting Printers

The default Microsoft Windows operating system software printer is set as the default printer for this software.

Example:Example:If an HP LaserJet 5L is your default printer in Microsoft Windows, all settings in the System Settings - Printer and Word Processor window default to that printer.

Printer selections are workstation specific.

To designate a different printer for a specific document type:

Select System > Change System Settings > Printer And WP. The System Settings - Printer and Word Processor window is displayed.
Select an option:
To change the default printer for a specific report category:To change the default printer for a specific report category:Select the printer from the drop-down list of printers.
To print a specific report category in color:To print a specific report category in color:Select Print in Color.
To set the printer offsets for a specific report category:To set the printer offsets for a specific report category:Click Set Offsets. The Set Printer Offsets window is displayed. Type the horizontal and vertical offset information and click OK. The System Settings - Printer and Word Processor window is displayed.
To display a window before printing:To display a window before printing:Select Display printer selection before printing.

Select the word processor from the drop-down list, and type any word processor startup codes in the field.
Click OK.
