Auto Scheduling Appointments for Existing Patients from the Scheduler Windows

To auto schedule a new, canceled, or overlapped appointment for an existing patient from the Daily Appointments or Book At A Glance windows:

  1. Select an option:

The Auto Scheduler Date Range window is displayed. The default value for the Start Date field is tomorrow’s date, and the default value for the End Date field is sixty days from tomorrow.

  1. Select the dates within which to search for an appointment, and click OK. The first available time slot that meets the criteria is displayed in the Daily Appointments window.

  2. To edit the auto scheduler parameters set for the patient, select Edit Other Auto Sched Parameters. The Setup AutoScheduling Parameters window is displayed. Make changes, and click OK. (See Auto Scheduling Appointments from Patient or Account Records.) The first available time slot that meets the criteria is displayed in the Daily Appointments window.

  5. To display the next day that contains a time slot that meets the criteria:

  6. To display the previous day with an available time slot that meets the criteria:

  1. After you have found a suitable time slot, click Make Appt or select it from the Options section of the Express bar.

  2. Click Close.
