Running the Fix Phone Records Utility

Run this utility to repair phone number information associated with practice, account, patient, dentist, employer, insurance company, insurance plan, pharmacy, referring doctor, and other facility records.

To correct phone number information:

1. Instruct the users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Maintenance > Fix Phone Records. The Repair Phone Records window is displayed. After the process is complete, a message is displayed.

5. Click OK.
