Running the Fix Patient Insurance Link Utility

Run this utility to ensure that all patients linked to a particular insurance plan are displayed in the Patients Insured By List window.

• To view the Patients Insured By List window, click Show Insured Patients in the Insurance Plan or Insurance co. List window.

To fix patient and insurance links:

1. Instruct the users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Maintenance > Fix Patient Insurance Link. The Repair Patient Insurance Links window is displayed. After the process is complete, a message is displayed.

5. Click OK.
