When running the software across a network, more than one user can access the same information or make changes to a record that is being viewed. To ensure the most current information is displayed, click Refresh on most toolbars to update data that is displayed in open windows.
Refresh is not displayed on the toolbar for features and windows that permit only one user at a time to make changes.
If you do not manually update the display, an automatic update of all visible data is performed at specified intervals.
To set the refresh interval time:
Select System > Startup Preferences. The Startup Preferences window is displayed.
Type the refresh interval in the Refresh view every _ minutes field.
Click OK.
