Running the Remap ADA Codes Utility

Run this utility to convert old ADA codes to new ADA codes for appointments already scheduled. Current appointments and tickler file entries are updated with the new ADA code information.

To remap ADA codes:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Maintenance > Remap ADA Code. The Remap ADA Code window is displayed.

5. Type the current and new codes in the appropriate fields. You can remap up to 10 ADA codes at one time.

6. Click Apply.

7. To remap another set of codes, repeat steps 4 and 5.

8. Click Close.

9. Restart the software.
