Scheduling Instant Recalls for Patients Without Set Recall Procedures
If the patient does not have a recall procedure set up on the Appts/Recall tab of the patient record, an error message is displayed when you attempt to schedule an instant recall appointment.
To schedule a recall appointment for a patient who does not have an instant recall set:

In the Patient List window, select a patient, and select Appointments from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu. The patient Appointments window is displayed.

Select an option:

To make an exam appointment:Select Go ToRecall Day > Last Exam from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

To make a user-defined recall appointment:Select Go ToRecall Day > User- Defined from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

To make a recall appointment:Select Go ToRecall Day > Next from the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu.

Select an option:

If the selected day and time are acceptable to the patient:Skip to number 4.

To display the next available time slot:Click Next Slot or select it from the Options section of the Express bar.

To display the previous available time slot:Click Prev Slot or select it from the Options section of the Express bar.

To display the next day:Click Skip Day or select it from the Options section of the Express bar.

To display the previous day with an available time slot:Click Prev Day or select it from the Options section of the Express bar.

When you have found a suitable slot, click Make Appt on the toolbar to schedule the appointment.

Click Close.
