Running the Calculate Running RCVTOT Balance Utility

Run this utility to review transactions and recalculate your balances. Use this utility if you have not run a final daysheet in more than seven days. The running balance for seven days of receivables is recalculated when you run a final daysheet.

To create a daily record for all transactions:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Maintenance > RCVTOT > Calculate Running Balance. A message asks you whether to run the utility.

5. Click Yes. A message informs you when the process is complete.

6. Click OK.

7. Restart the software.
