Tracking Patients Referred to an Outside Doctor

The Patient Tracking feature enables you to track outgoing referrals by patient.

To track a patient that has been referred to an outside doctor:

  1. Select an option:

In the Patient List windowIn the Patient List window::Select Clinical Management > Outgoing Referral History from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.Select the referred out patient and select Clinical Management > Outgoing Referral History from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.

  3. In the Patient window:In the Patient window:Select Clinical Management > Outgoing Referral History from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu.

The Outgoing Referrals Tracked List window is displayed.

  1. Select an option:

  2. To edit the referral reason:To edit the referral reason:Select the referral and click Edit. The Outgoing Referrals Tracked window is displayed. Edit the referral reason and click OK. Click Close. The Outgoing Referrals Tracked List window is displayed.

  3. To delete a referral:To delete a referral:Select the referral and click Delete. A message that asks you to confirm the deletion is displayed. Click Yes.

  4. To print, preview, or save a referral:To print, preview, or save a referral:Select a referral and select Print from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Output Options window is displayed. Select the output option and click OK. The Patient Referral Tracking Report window is displayed. Click OK.

  1. Click Close.
