Running the Patient Instant Recall Procedures Utility

Run this utility to modify the normal frequency and procedure, the alternating procedure, the user-defined frequency and procedures (if applicable), and the time units for recall codes for all patients at one time. Adult and child recall information is handled separately.

To run the patient instant recall procedures utility:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Maintenance > Instant Recall Codes Setup > Patient Instant Recall Procedures. The Patient Instant Recall Setup window is displayed.

5. Select an option:

6. To set recall values in all patient records that do not already have recall settings:Select Set All Patient Recall Procedures.

7. To set these values in all patient records:Select Replace Patient Recall Procedures.

6. To modify recall information for adults, click the Adult tab, select the appropriate checkboxes, and type a new default number in the To column.

7. To modify recall information for children, click the Child tab, select the appropriate checkboxes, and type a new default number in the To column.

8. Click OK.

9. Restart the software.
