Running the Patient First Visit Report

The Patient First Visit report generates a list of new patients with the dates of the first visits.

Sample Report

To generate a list of patients’ first visits:

  1. Select Reports > Patient > First Visit. The Output Options window is displayed.

  2. Select an output option and click OK. The New Patient List Report window is displayed.

  3. Select the starting and ending first visit date ranges from the drop-down lists.

  4. Select an option:

To compare the first visit information entered in the Date Range of First Visit section to a previous date range:To compare the first visit information entered in the Date Range of First Visit section to a previous date range:Type the starting and ending dates in the Comparison Range section, and select Compare Date Ranges.

  6. To restrict the report to a specific provider:To restrict the report to a specific provider:Type the provider identification number in the Provider field.

  7. To include all doctor and patient referral information in the report:To include all doctor and patient referral information in the report:Select Include Referral Information.

  1. If you are exporting the report to Excel, the following options are selected:

  2. Print Raw Data:Print Raw Data:Each piece of data in the report is placed in a separate column on the Raw tab.

  3. Print Formatted Data:Print Formatted Data:The report information is displayed in the same manner as if it were sent to the printer on the Formatted tab.  

Deselect an option if you do not want that type of data to display. If you leave both options selected, the report information is displayed on two tabs in the Excel spreadsheet.

  1. Deselect Include Color/Shading if you do not want shading on the report.

  2. Click OK.
