Setting Perio Chart Options and Properties

To set periodontal charting options and properties:

  1. On the Perio tab in the Chart for window, select Perio > Options. The Perio Properties window is displayed.

  2. In the Red line - mm section, type the red line values.

  3. In the Show section, select the checkboxes for the measurement types you want to display.

  4. In the Draw section, select whether you want to display a Bar Chart, a Line Chart, or Both.

  5. In the Data Display section, select how you want the data displayed on the chart. For more information, see Using the Perio Views Toolbar.

  6. In the Data Entry section, select how you want the entries to be recorded.

  7. In the Electronic Probe section, use the drop-down lists to select the probe and Com Port.

  8. You must attach the unit to a communications port on your computer before setting this option. See the manufacturer’s information to calibrate and use the probe.

  1. In the Keystroke Options section, select which method to use to navigate through the chart.

  2. If you use voice recognition, select the voice type from the Voice Response drop-down list.

  3. To set the chart and background colors, click the Colors tab.
