Selecting Merge List Records

To select merge list records:

  1. Follow the instructions in Starting the Merge Process.

If report results need to be merged into the document, the Merge List Status window is displayed.

  1. Click Select Record. The SoftDent List Creation window is displayed.

  2. Select an option:

  3. To select a list of records:To select a list of records:Click the first record, hold down the Shift key, and click the last record.

  4. To select random records:To select random records:Click the first record, hold down the Ctrl key, and click additional records.

  5. To select all records:To select all records:Click Select All in the Selection Options section.

  1. Click OK.

  2. After the merge process is complete, select an option:

  3. To print the letters:To print the letters:Click the Print icon located on the Microsoft Word toolbar.

  4. To save the letters:To save the letters:Select Save As from the File menu. Type the file name in the appropriate field, and click Save.

  1. Click Back to SoftDent in the Microsoft Word toolbar to return to the application.
