Running the Label Comp/Uncomp Utility

Run this utility to compress or uncompress the font on the account, birthday, custom, employer, insurance company, patient, pharmacy, insurance plan, practice, recall, referring doctor, reminder, school, and tickler labels.

To compress or uncompress label fonts:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Customize > Label Comp/Uncomp Utility. The Label Compress/Uncompress window is displayed.

5. Select the files from the list and select Compress or Uncompress.

6. Click Run. A message informs you the process is complete.

7. Click OK.

8. Click Close.

9. Restart the software.
