Inserting Images into Templates

Embedding an image enables you to insert images from the patient document tree and display them in the final letter.

• To create a template, see Creating Letter Expert Templates.

To add an image to your template:

1. While viewing a template, place the cursor where you want the image to appear and click Add New Image on the SoftDent toolbar. The Insert a Patient Image window is displayed.

2. Select an option:

3. If the image is required:Select Required.

4. If the image is optional:Select Optional.

3. Click OK. The template is displayed. The image place holder is embedded in the document and the image is added to the data when it is merged with this template.

To add a list to the template:See Inserting Lists into Templates.

4. Click Back to SoftDent to save the template and return to the software. The Template Information window is displayed.

7. To create a new template:Click Add.
