Running the Utility Error Log File Utility

Run this utility to identify problems that occurred when running a utility. The log contains records that track each time a utility program was run, any errors that have occurred, and any changes made to your data files.

To run the utility error log file utility:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The  SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Report > Utility Error Log File. The Action Options window is displayed.  

5. To print the file, select Print and click OK.

6. Delete this file after you print it.

6. Restart the software.
