Running the Edit Recall Postcards Utility

Run this utility to create and edit the text for the first, second, and third recall notices for your normal and user-defined recall system. You can also edit the text for postcards not using motivated recall.

To edit recall postcard text:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Customize > Edit Recall Postcards. The Edit Recall Postcards window is displayed.

5. Click the tab that corresponds to the letter to edit.

6. Type up to 8 lines of text on the postcard.

7. To edit text, select it, and type over the existing text.

8. Click OK.

9. Restart the software.
