Use the contact expert to defer a contact.
To defer a contact:
In the Contact Expert window, select a record from the list in the left pane.
Select Defer Contact. The drop-down list defaults to one calendar week from the current date.
To change the deferment date, click the drop-down list, select the appropriate month and day, and click OK.
Type any notes in the Notes field.
Click Log and Remove Contact.
