Running the Create Records From All Transactions Utility

Run this utility to recalculate your receivables records using every transaction entered in your system, including those which have been compressed.

• Recreating the receivables file may affect your ability to run accounting reports that compare information because you can no longer view your compressed transactions.

To recalculate the receivables records for all transactions:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Maintenance > RCVTOT > Create Records From All Transactions. A message asks you whether to run the utility.

5. Click Yes. A message informs you when the process is complete.

6. Click OK.

7. Restart the software.
