Setting Up Insurance > Running Insurance Reports > Running Insurance Practice Management Reports
The Contractual Plan Production report lists all procedures posted using a DMO fee schedule. The quantity performed and the monies generated by the production are included in the report.
To run the Contractual Plan Production report:
Select Reports > Practice Management > Insurance Reports > Contractual Plan Production. The Output Options window is displayed.
Select an output and click OK. The Contractual Plan Production by ADA Codes Report window is displayed.
In the Date Range section, click the drop-down arrows to select the dates from a calendar.
In the Plan ID section, click the drop-down arrow to select an insurance plan.
In the Doctors section, use the drop-down arrows to select specific providers, or leave 999 to report on all providers.
Click OK.
This report displays the code number, description, the dollar amount if charged at fee schedule 0, the contractual fee (including co-payment), the number of times the code was posted, and the practice dollar total at the contractual fee for that code.
This report will not run unless you specify a valid plan ID.
If fee schedule 0 or the plan’s fee in the bluebook is updated, the dollar amount charged at fee schedule 0 reflects the updated fee.
The report contains the following information:
Code, Description—Transaction code, including extension, and its description.
Fee 0—Current fee for transaction code at fee schedule 0.
Cap Fee—Current plan fee for transaction code for insurance plan’s bluebook.
Quantity—Total number of transactions posted.
Amnt $—Actual dollar amount of insurable transactions posted.
