To confirm a patient appointment:
Select an option:
A list of the patient’s telephone numbers is displayed in the window.
If the patient has a preferred method of contact set in the Patient Information window, that method is highlighted in bold italics.
If your system is configured for auto-dialing, select the phone number to call, and click Dial.
If your system is not configured for auto-dialing, the numbers are for your reference.
Select APPOINTMENT CONFIRMED.
Type a confirmation note in the Note field.
Click Close.
If Ask to log contact after confirming appointment checkbox is selected in the Scheduler Settings window, a message that asks you whether to log a contact is displayed. For more information, see Adding Contacts.
