Running the Change All Account ICMs Utility

Run this utility to change the insurance calculation method (ICM) for all accounts. However, the ICM for accounts with a budget plan balance cannot be changed. The billed dates are set to the current date for accounts that are converted to the new ICM.

To change the ICM for all accounts:

1. Instruct all users to exit the software.

2. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

3. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

4. Select Customize > Change All Account ICMs. The Change All Account ICMs window is displayed.

5. Type the new ICM in the Enter new ICM for system and all accounts field.

6. Click Apply. A message asks you to confirm the selections.

7. Click Yes. A message informs you the process is complete and specifies the number of modified records.

8. Click OK.

9. Click Close.

10. Restart the software.
