Adding Annotation Shape Tools

You can add and delete the following annotations:

• Rectangles

• Solid rectangles

• Ellipses

• Solid ellipses

• Lines

• Freehand lines

• Pointers

• Redaction

To add an annotation shape:

1. On any tab in the Chart for window, select the image to annotate on the Clinical Images tab in the Clinical Detail Container, right-click, and select Annotate.

2. To specify the shape line color, click the color box in the Attributes section. The Color window is displayed. Select the color and click OK.

3. To specify the shape line size, select it from the Line Size list.

4. In the Shapes section, select the shape and use the pointer to select the insertion point.

5. Use redaction to create a black box over parts of the image.

5. Draw the shape.

6. To hide text and note annotations, deselect Show Annotations.

7. Select Save Annotations.
