Adding an Unscheduled Existing Patient

To add an appointment for an existing patient in the InOffice window:

  1. In the InOffice window, select InOffice Add from the Options section of the Express bar or Options menu. The Patient List window is displayed.

  2. Type the patient’s name in the Find field and press Enter.

  3. Double-click the patient record, or press Enter. The Daybook for the current day is displayed in the Daily Appointments window.

  4. Double-click the appointment time slot. A message asking you to confirm your selection is displayed.

  5. To confirm the appointment, click Yes. The Appointment Card window is displayed.

  6. Type the appointment information in the appropriate fields and click OK.

  7. If there are Tickler entries or open lab cases associated with the patient, the appropriate reminder messages are displayed.

  1. Click Close.
