Understanding User Codes
Using Account User Codes
Use account user codes to group accounts together according to specific
criteria. There are nine defined account user codes
Example:Example:Type I
to indicate the account as inactive. You can run reports including or
excluding inactive accounts.
The account user codes are:
C:C:The
account has been sent to a collection agency, no billing statement
is printed for this account, and it is not included in the Account
Aging report.
I:I:The
account is inactive, no billing statement is printed for the account,
and it is not be included in the Account Aging report.
L:L:The
account is involved in a legal case, no billing statement is printed
for the account, and it is not included in the Account Aging report.
M:M:An
additional message (entered in the Notes field in the common area
of the Account window) prints in addition to any dunning messages
on laser billing statements. This information replaces running messages
on preprinted statements.
N:N:The
account is not included when the current billing statement is generated.
X:X:The
account's insurance estimation is disabled.
Y:Y:The
account billing statement does not include dunning messages. Note: This applies
to automated/electronic statements only and does not affect paper
billing statements.
Z:Z:The
account is not charged finance or billing charges.
F3:F3:The account will accrue finance charges after
it is 30 days past due.
F6:F6:The
account will accrue finance charges after it is 60 days past due.
F9:F9:The
account will accrue finance charges after it is 90 days past due.
~ (Tilde):~ (Tilde):Prevents
an account with a fixed loan budget plan from receiving a budget plan
statement.
