Scheduling Appointments > Scheduling Appointments for New Patients
When you schedule a new patient, entries are made in the Account List and Patients List windows, but no permanent entries are made in your patient and account database unless you click Additional Account Info.
The new entries are displayed in fuchsia and most features in the Options section of the Express bar or the Options menu are disabled.
When the patient arrives for the appointment, the patient and account must be activated.
Select one of the options to activate the patient and account records:
When you activate a new patient, the associated new account is automatically activated.
When you activate a new account, you must individually activate each patient associated with the account. If you add a new patient to an existing account, you must activate the patient.
