Use The Exchange, Carestream Dental's online user community, to ask questions, find answers to common questions, make suggestions, and interact with other SoftDent users, support representatives, and trainers.
You can view all available content on The Exchange without an account; however, you must register for a free account to ask or answer questions, maintain a profile, or interact with other SoftDent users, support representatives, and trainers.
To access The Exchange:
Click The Exchange, or type http://community.carestreamdental.com into the internet browser address field. The Home page for The Exchange is displayed.
Do one of the following:
If you have a user name and password, click Sign In.
If you are a new user and want to register, click Sign In, and then click New User? Register here.
To register for The Exchange:
Click The Exchange, or type http://community.carestreamdental.com into the internet browser address field. The Home page for The Exchange is displayed.
Click Sign In. The Sign In window is displayed.
Click the New User? Register here link. The Register window is displayed.
Complete all fields in the window, and click Register.
Once you have an account and log in, click the avatar at the upper-right corner of the window, and select My Settings.
You can add more information about yourself and set your preferences on the Personal, Preferences, Avatars, Tagging, Macros, and Subscriptions and Notifications tabs.
From the main window of The Exchange, you can:
Use the Practice Management menu to select the SoftDent Main page. From there, you can read and respond to discussions, start a new topic, and use the links to find more documentation, training, and release notes.
Select Practice Management > Product Ideas to view currently-discussed ideas or make suggestions for enhancements.
Use the Global Community menu to access groups and learn more about Carestream Dental's online community.
