Managing Team Member Credentials and Permissions

When you enroll in the Sensei Cloud ePrescriptions Service, a Carestream Dental representative sets up your account and team member credentials.

To verify or change a Team Member’s ePrescription credentials:

  1. From the Administration tab, select Team > Team Members. The Team Member Settings are displayed.

  2. Select the team member and click Edit Selected Team Member. The ePrescriptions Credentials section is displayed at the bottom of the settings list.

  3. Verify or change the ePrescriptions username and password set up for the user with Change Healthcare.

  4. Click Validate Credentials. The ePrescriptions Login Test window is displayed for the user with a notation of Login Success.

  5. Click Close, and then click Save Team Member.

Managing Group and User Permissions

All users have access to ePrescriptions by default, but some practices may choose to restrict specified personnel from accessing or taking action on patient prescriptions.

To configure Group Permissions:

  1. From the Administration tab, select Permissions > Group Permissions.

  2. Select Prescribers, and then click Edit Group Members.

  3. Select or deselect team members with permission to manage prescriptions.

  4. Click Save

To manage individual User Permissions:

  1. From the Administration tab, select Permissions > User Permissions. The User Permissions window is displayed.

  2. Select a team member and click Edit User Permissions. The list of permissions is displayed, grouped by category.

  3. Under Clinical, select Manage Prescriptions to enable the team member to take action on prescriptions, or deselect this option to remove the permission.
