Each R4+ system has a tutor database—a fictional database containing patients and appointments for a fictional practice. Whatever your level of experience, you can use the tutor database to learn about the system, and you can experiment without changing the real database.
To use the tutor database, select Start > R4+ > R4+ Tutor Version. When using the tutor database, the R4+ icon in the window title bars is replaced with a red T.
The tutor database has a number of pre-configured users with different roles and access levels. None of the users have a password, so one must be set the first time that the user account is used.
