You can define date-specific messages for the Welcome screen that change from day to day to reflect information about your practice, such as upcoming holiday closings. You can save daily messages for reuse, or define new ones as needed.
To define a daily message:
Select File > Preferences > KIOSK Configuration Options > Configure KIOSK. The KIOSK Check-In Module Settings window is displayed with the Welcome Page tab selected.
Click the Message Of The Day tab.
Use the text box and formatting tools to enter a message to display.
Click Save as New. You are prompted to enter a name for the message, such as July 4th, Closing Early.
Enter a name for the message and click OK. The message is saved to the Predefined Messages list.
Select the Show Message of the Day on Welcome screen option to use this as the current message.
To edit and reuse an existing message, enter the new text for the message, select the message from the list, and click Save Message.
To delete a message from the list, select the message and click Delete Message.
If the Show Message of the Day on Welcome screen option is not selected, then only the Welcome message is displayed on the Welcome screen.
