Installing the PEARL Module Server

After purchasing the PEARL Module, you will receive an email that contains:

 The practice key enables you to install, configure, and use the PEARL Module as defined by the terms of your software agreement.

If you are upgrading a previous version of the PEARL Module, you will not need to enter the practice key again.

Install the PEARL Module Server on the machine where your practice management data resides. Verify that the server is on, and that your practice management software is installed and launches successfully. Database services must be running for the PEARL Module to serve data to your handheld device.

To install the PEARL Module Server software:

  1. From the practice management software server, open the link provided in the PEARL Module welcome email.

  2. Save the .zip file to a local directory.

  3. Extract the contents of the .zip file and double-click PEARLSetup.exe.

  1. Follow the installation prompts to install the PEARL Module Server. The installer automatically detects and inserts the necessary details for your practice management database.

  2. When prompted, enter the practice key. If this is an upgrade, the practice key will be imported automatically, and you will not be prompted to enter it.

  1. Click Close.

  2. Return to the directory that contains the extracted zip file and double-click MTM_Mobile_For_SoftwareName.

  3. Follow the installation prompts.

  4. Click Close.
