Revenue Projection Fields

Field	Description
Start	The default value of this field is the current date. You can change this value to any future date. Changing the value of this field to a future date, such as when projecting revenue for the following year, projects revenue only for the future months. The report does not calculate beginning aged receivables totals between the current date and the specified future date range.
End	The default value of this field is December 31 of the current year. You can change this value.
Number of New Starts per Month	The default value of this field is calculated based on the average number of new monthly contracts added each month, beginning one day after your office’s first daysheet was installed. This prevents the report from calculating conversion contracts in the average. You can change this value.
Contract Amount	The default value of this field is calculated based on the average total amount of monthly contracts. The default value typically reflects recent fee increases because contracts are routinely deleted after completion. You can change this value. Other types of contracts are not included in the calculation of the default value.
Monthly Contract Charge	The default value of this field is calculated based on the average of the first monthly contract charge applied. The default value typically reflects recent fee increases because contracts are routinely deleted after completion. You can change this value. If the first monthly contract charge is significantly different from other monthly contract charges, such as in a variable contract, you may want to change the default value. Other types of contracts are not included in the calculation of the default value.
Initial Fee	The default value of this field is calculated based on the average initial fee for monthly contracts. You can change this value.
Amount of Other Charges per Month	This field has no default value. If necessary, enter a value based on the average amount of other charges generated per month; for example, charges for whitening, appliances, records fees, and so on.
Amount of Visit Charges per Month	This field has no default value. If necessary, enter a value based on the average amount incurred per month by patients with visit charge contracts.
% Collected per Month	This field has no default value. If necessary, enter a value based on an estimate of the percentage of current balances received each month.
