Pass-Through Security Access

To access the Security window:

Select Functions > Maintenance/Setup > Security.

Some functions allow pass-through security access. If you have security permissions to access a parent function, you can also access related functions, even if you do not have security access for that function. The following table lists parent functions, which allow pass-through security access to sub-functions.

Employees who have security access permissions for Daysheet, but not for Roll or Post Auto-Payments, can roll and post auto-payments while running the daysheet when the prompts for these functions are displayed.
