Opening the Message Board

To open the message board:

1. Navigate to the OMS folder on the drive on which OrthoTrac is loaded.

2. Open the folder and double-click MBOARD.EXE. The Message Board window is displayed.

The Message Board window contains the following tabs:

• Messages tabMessages tab

  Create a daily message and enable the patient birthday and procedure options.

• Quick Message Setup tabQuick Message Setup tab

  Create a list of standard messages from which you can select.

• Procedure Setup tabProcedure Setup tab

  Create a list of procedures and messages to be displayed for specific patients.

• Board Setup tabBoard Setup tab

  Set up the name display and communications port settings.
