Creating the HouseCalls Export File

If you have purchased a license to use HouseCalls, you must create an export file containing the names of patients whom you want contacted.

To create the export file:

  1. From the main menu, select Functions > Housecalls. The HouseCalls window is displayed.

  2. If you have purchased a HouseCalls license and the Housecalls option is not enabled on your Functions menu, use the shortcut on your desktop to create the file. Contact your software support provider to enable the HouseCalls menu option.

  1. In the Dates to Confirm and thru fields, enter the dates for the period in which you want patients contacted. Double-click in the fields to display a calendar, where you can select the appropriate dates.

  2. In the Office field, use the drop-down list to select the offices for which you want to export data, if your practice has more than one office.

  3. In the Appointment Types to Confirm section, all of the available appointment types are displayed in the Selected Types window by default. Select an appointment type you do not want contacted and click the single arrow button to move the appointment type to the Available Types window.

OR

Click the double arrow button to move all of the appointment types to the Available Types window. Select the appointment type you want confirmed and use the single arrow button to add the appointment type to the Selected Types window.

  1. In the Patient Status to Confirm section, all of the available patient status types are displayed in the Selected Status window by default. Select a status you do not want confirmed and click the single arrow button to move the status type to the Available Status window.

OR

Click the double arrow button to move all of the status types to the Available Status window. Select the status type you want confirmed and use the single arrow button to add the status type to the Selected Status window.

  1. Click OK. The HouseCalls message is displayed.

  2. Exit Windows and start the HouseCalls program.

  3. Contact your software support provider to have this program automatically start HouseCalls.
