Viewing Movies

You can display a movie and use the Movie toolbar to navigate movie frames, specify frame sequence, and capture frames to use as paintings.

Select a movie from the Table of Contents and use the Movie toolbar to navigate and customize.

A movie will not play if the required codec (a computer program that encodes or decodes data) is not installed on your machine. Videos that do play may not have full functionality due to codec functionality or compatibility.

The Movie toolbar includes the following tools:

To play the movieTo play the movie, click Play.
To pause the movieTo pause the movie, click Pause.
To stop the movieTo stop the movie, click Stop.
To rewind the movieTo rewind the movie, click Rewind.
To view the previous frameTo view the previous frame, click Step Back.
To view the next frameTo view the next frame, click Step Fwd.
To fast-forwardTo fast-forward, click Forward.
To specify the movie start frameTo specify the movie start frame, click Set Start. The movie starts at the specified frame.
To specify the movie end frameTo specify the movie end frame, click Set End. The movie stops at the specified frame.
To play the movie in auto-repeatTo play the movie in auto-repeat, click Loop.
To go to a specific frameTo go to a specific frame, drag the Play slider to the frame.
To capture frames

To adjust the viewing scale, right-click on the movie and select a zoom option.
