Setting Paintings Preferences

Use the Paintings tab to set defaults for paintings.

To set painting preferences:

  1. Select Start > All Programs > CS Orthodontic Imaging > Set Global Preferences. The Global Preferences window is displayed.

  2. Select the following options:

  3. Default Smile File TypeDefault Smile File Type Specify the default file type for smile images.

  4. Default Region SelectDefault Region Select Specify the default region selection type.

  5. Paint/Eraser SizePaint/Eraser Size Specify the size of the Brush and Eraser tools.

  6. Smudge SizeSmudge Size Specify the range of the Smudge tool. A smaller range results in a more obvious smudge.

  7. Blend ThresholdBlend Threshold Specify the default magic wand tolerance.

  8. Default Foreground ColorDefault Foreground Color Specify the foreground paint color used in paintings. Click Browse to select a color.

  9. Default Background ColorDefault Background Color Specify the background color used in paintings. Click Browse to select a color.

  10. Default Transparent ColorDefault Transparent Color Specify the transparent color used in paintings. Click Browse to select a color.

  11. Remember Toolbox PositionRemember Toolbox Position Select this option to save the position of the toolbox when exiting the software.

  1. Click Apply to save your changes.

  2. Click Exit.
