Setting Analysis Preferences

You can configure annotation options in the Global Preferences window.

To set annotation parameters:

Select Start > All Programs > CS Orthodontic Imaging > Set Global Preferences. The Global Preferences window is displayed.
You can configure the following Annotations settings:
- Font ColorFont Color
  To select a font color:
  1. Click the ... button. The Color window is displayed.
  2. Select a color and click OK.
- Font NameFont Name
  
  Click the drop-down arrow to display a list of fonts. Select a font from the Font Name field to use as the displayed font for annotation.
- Font SizeFont Size
  Click the arrows to increase or decrease the numeric value in the Font Size field.
  - The default value for this field is 10.
- Line ColorLine Color
  To select a line color:
  1. Click the ... button. The Color window is displayed.
  2. Select a color and click OK.
- Line StyleLine Style
  Click the drop-down arrow to select one of the following options as the line style for annotation:
  - Solid
  - Dash
  - Dot
  - Dash-Dot
  - Dash-Dot-Dot
- Line WidthLine Width
  Click the arrows to increase or decrease the numeric value in the Line Width field.
  - The default value for this field is 1.
- Fill ColorFill Color
  To select a fill color:
  1. Click the ... button. The Color window is displayed.
  2. Select a color and click OK.
- Fill PatternFill Pattern
  Click the drop-down arrow to select one of the following options as the fill pattern for annotation:
  - Solid
  - Backward diagonal
  - Cross
  - Diagonal cross
  - Forward diagonal
  - Horizontal
  - Vertical
- Highlight ColorHighlight Color
  To select a highlight color for annotation:
  1. Click the ... button. The Color window is displayed.
  2. Select a color and click OK.
- PrecisionPrecision
  Click the arrows to increase or decrease the numeric value in the Precision field. This setting adjusts the precision of the Ruler and Protractor tools.
  - The default value for this field is 2.
- Magnify SizeMagnify Size
  Click the arrows to increase or decrease the numeric value in the Magnify Size field. This setting adjusts the zoom size of the Magnifying Glass tool.
  - The default value for this field is 50.
- Magnify ShapeMagnify Shape
  Click the drop-down arrow to select one of the following options as the shape of the Magnifying Glass tool:
  - Square
  - Ellipse
- Number of UndosNumber of Undos
  Click the arrows to increase or decrease the numeric value in the Number of Undos field. This sets the number of actions you can undo.
  - The default value for this field is 5.

Click Apply to save your changes.
Click Exit.
