Using the CS Imaging Transfer Module

To use the CS Imaging transfer module:

1. Open the patient’s chart in the imaging software.

2. Place the camera in the digital imaging dock and press the transfer button on the dock.

If you have enabled the Create Automatic Visit option in your preferences, the files are downloaded into a visit named CS Visit 1.

• If a visit named Visit 1 already exists, a new visit is created with a sequential number.

If you selected a default gallery:The images are downloaded in the order they were acquired and assigned to the object types specified in the default gallery. If more images exist than object types, additional images are downloaded as Imported Bitmap 1, Imported Bitmap 2, and so on.

If no default gallery is selected:The images are downloaded as Imported Bitmap 1, Imported Bitmap 2, and so on. Movies are downloaded as Imported Movie 1, and so on.

3. Use the Change type to feature to change the CS visit to the appropriate visit type.

To move all objects from a CS visit to an existing visit:Right-click the CS visit, select Move To, and then select an existing visit. After all objects are moved from the CS visit, the CS visit is automatically deleted from the patient chart.

• Visits and object types created by the digital imaging transfer module are unavailable as selectable types.
