Using the CS 9000 Extraoral Imaging System

Setting Panoramic Imaging Preferences

To set options for working with panoramic images:

  1. Click Preferences Button. The CS OMS Imaging Software Preferences window is displayed.

  2. Click the CS X-Ray tab.

  3. In the Pan section, use the Contrast Mode drop-down list to specify the default contrast strength.

  4. Select Apply Sharpness FilterApply Sharpness FilterSelect to apply the Sharpness filter to acquired x-ray images, increasing the contrast and simplifying the identification of grayscales contained in the x-ray image..

  1. The filter off option is the default.

  1. Click OK.
