Median Tool

The Median tool softens an image and can reduce graininess.

To use this tool:

  1. Click Median Button. The Median window opens.

  2. Enter a value in the Sample Size field, or use the scroll bar to adjust the median.

  3. The results of your selection are displayed in the preview pane of the Median window.

  1. Click OK. The image is adjusted.

To revert to the original image, click Median Button again.
